Nominations for the offices of :
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary-Treasurer
• Recording Secretary
• Two (2) Health Facilities Sectors Representatives
• One (1) Public Utilities Sector Representative
• One (1) Public Employees Sector Representative
• One (1) Unions Sector Representative
• One (1) Miscellaneous Sector Representative
Nominations will be accepted at the regularly scheduled membership meeting on January 19, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Central Time virtually via Zoom.

The term of office will run for three years beginning March 2022 through February 2025.
The Executive Board shall appoint three (3) Sector Representatives to serve in a dual
capacity of Sector Representative/Trustee.
Nominations may only be made by active members in good standing of this Local Union at the
time of the nomination either in person or through written communication to this Union
Executive Board. Eligible members may self nominate. All persons validly nominated shall
indicate their acceptance or declination (1) verbally if present at the meeting, otherwise (2)
in writing within two (2) days after such nomination. If no response to the nomination is
received within this time frame, the nomination will be considered declined. No person may
accept the nomination for more than one office or Executive Board position in an election.
If more than one person is nominated and running for the same position, an election board
of three (3) members in good standing shall be elected at the membership meeting after
nominations have been closed. One member shall be elected as Chairperson. The Election
Board shall have the right to appoint any clerical help required. No nominee or candidate
for office shall be eligible to be a member of the Election Board.
If only one candidate (i.e., an eligible member who has been validly nominated and timely
accepts the nomination) is duly nominated for an office, that candidate shall be declared
elected by acclamation.
