OPEIU Joins Wisconsin Local Unions in Protest at the Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin

OPEIU International President Michael Goodwin and other union officials will be in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, February 25 in support of public employees in their fight against Governor Walker’s horrific union-busting legislation!!!

New Education Rebate for Union Plus Credit Card Holders

To help with the skyrocketing costs of higher education, Union Privilege is offering a new Education Rebate for Union Plus Credit Card holders. Card members can now qualify for rebates of $50, $125 or $250 for eligible education purchases with their Union Plus Credit Card.
 

Joseph Marutiak Named OPEIU Vice President

The OPEIU Executive Board has named Joseph Marutiak to serve as Vice President for Region VII on the Executive Board. Marutiak is the Senior Service Representative for OPEIU Local Union 459 in Lansing, Michigan. He replaces the retiring Vice President Cindy Jeffries, who has been appointed to serve as Commissioner of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). Jeffries is one of four OPEIU members serving as an FMCS commissioner.
